Big plans are being made for the impending trip to California. A friend of Annette’s is getting married, and, as is our style, we’re making a mini-vacation out of the occasion.

We fly out Thursday, pick up the rental car, then head down the coast for the first night at a state park on the coast. The next few nights we’re in a hotel in San Luis Obispo. Then, after the wedding, we’re back on the road and in a private campground one night, then a state park the night before we fly back to MN.

I have one agenda item: swim in salt water.

We’ll be driving past Point Lobos. Might have to stop and see if there’s any Edward Weston energy remaining.
