Hours of Daylight – 15:24

Well, i had hoped to open this entry differently. In fact, i had hoped to say “deal’s done, we’re moving to Maine.” Or, Baltimore. Either would do.

Instead i’ll just stick to talking about things i know to be true: the first IKEA in this part of the country is now open. The first 100 people in line got a free Poang chair. I suspect they arrived yesterday and slept online.

Yes, she had the conference call with Maine. No, nothing was settled, no offers were made. They’ll get back to her in another week or so. Little will be accomplished then too, i fear.
