Day 969 – Yurtin’

Annette was here for Thanksgiving and we, once again, disappeared into the hills north of Idaho City and pretended to be the two last people on the planet.

Unfortunately our reverie was intruded upon by two uniformed backcountry guys on some kind of a mission. But they (and their excitable chocolate springer spaniel) were with us only briefly then continued on their way.

We managed to cram three weeks of husbandry/wifery into five or so days, but there’s no way to avoid the fact i’m growing innately frustrated with this situation. But that’s my problem. Here are two photos from the three days/two nights we were a-yurtin’. The first is the yurt (duh). The second is the view from said yurt’s porch.
