What matters in this life? How can one decide something that will have far-reaching implications, but at the same time might not matter at all? What is the “one thing” that must be honored?
No clear path. Increasingly there is no clear path… only compromises tinged with uncertainty and hinting at regret.
Idaho includes incredible diversity. Well… in terms of ecosystems that is. One only has to travel a short distance from Boise to experience a level of solitude unknown on the east coast.
After spending money like it grows on trees i’ve finally acquired a very nice thing i’ve wanted for many years, but only recently came into existence.
I may not leave Boise for a while yet, but if i departed tomorrow here are some of the things i would genuinely miss.
Somewhere near Bruneau, i thinkToday is the third anniversary of arriving in Idaho. My wife’s job was supposed have been funded up to this point. Had things unfolded as planned we’d now be dealing with the stuff we dealt with last year… so there’s really no point in bitching; we’d have arrived at this point regardless.
