Day 1114 – Back East
Monday, April 21st, 2008
I’m not opposed to wandering in the woods, but nobody likes to be lost all the time. Being lost engenders a great sense of freedom, like anything could happen, that anything is possible. But after a while that freedom becomes more and more of a burden. Without a path it becomes harder and harder to know where you are going, only where you have been.

The Catskill house got away from us. We’re going to take another shot a Beacon.
