Ok day two of “adventures with iPad.” Amount spent at the Apple Store: $40.45. The largest single purchase was “The Elements” which is an interactive book with hooks to WolframAlpha for up-to-date information.

Ok, all y’all know that I’m an Apple fan-boy, but so far this experience has been near perfect. This device has performed flawlessly. My only criticism would be that some of my favorite iPod apps are not yet out in iPad sizes.

When I bought my first-gen iPod Touch a while back I said “now if they’d only make a bigger version of this thing they’d have a killer product.” I guess I wasn’t the only person who thought this.

Oh, one more thing: in a somewhat humorous bit of irony, the only true bug I’ve yet found is in the WordPress app I’m using to write this. Seems adding a photo to a post causes the app to immediately crash. And I have to say the crash behavior is confusing… The app just closes and you’re whisked back to the home screen. No explanation.
