How did i get along for so long without an iPhone? Actually, i got along just fine. But Laurie Anderson tells us “Heaven is exactly like where you are right now, only much, much better” which i interpret to mean on this earth there is always room for improvement. And in that spirit,  just like Robert Redford observed when describing the victrola in Out of Africa, “they’ve finally created a machine that does something useful,” i’ve discovered the iPhone camera and the game-changing app, Hipstamatic.

Oh, and note the day count. I officially hit the one-year mark March 1st with my tally of days being only slightly off.
