One year ago today i was back in Boise loading a big rental truck with the help of a local lacrosse team. The good news was we hardly filled the truck halfway. We needed the big truck to fit our double kayak. Getting the 400 pound pizza oven in at the end was a real clambake.
The bottom line was we rolled into Ashland on July 4th at the very end of the day’s festivities and therefore missed out on one of the biggest fetes Ashland puts on. This year we’ll be here from top to bottom.
In the meantime, here’s a Nivo-Slider based slideshow of my pictures of the SOU Symphonic Band. I’m doing a test to see how different jquery-based effects work on different browsers.

This is very confusing. The visual editor is not loading, so it's very hard to know what's actually going to happen when this mini-post becomes a slide.Update! The visual editor not loading is evidently a plugin conflict... with NivoSlider. Can't we all just get along?

I'm not too sure about how "Slidedeck" works with WordPress. This trend of creating posts and then displaying posts within posts within posts smacks of frames back in the early days of the web.
