It’s so frustrating; i can go for years with hardly a sniffle. But eventually i catch a cold and i’m sidelined for a full week.

This has happened before. In fact, given the rate that Annette and i move around, it seems to occur once in every place we’ve lived. This makes sense since we tend to move at least every five years if not sooner.

In Columbus Ohio i had a horrible cold… so bad in fact i went to the ER at a local hospital. The doc poked, prodded, listened and took some samples but eventually said, “you have a bad cold. A really bad cold. Go home, get in bed and don’t get up until you shake this. Don’t bother with cold medicine crap, just drink gallons of water with a sprinkling of hydration salts, and keep bundled up… stay sweaty.”
