Day 623 – Con’t

Brasilia-EMB-2

Made it home in record time. Muni and Bart synchronized perfectly with an unexpected delay of the previous Medford flight to score me, 1, an earlier flight out, and 2, an exit row. Before you scoff let me just say that an exit row on an Embraer Brasilia is beyond epic in terms of leg room.

Reporting on the last (half) day of WCSF will have to wait for my brain to recover. Coming back to Ashland… after only a few days away… the quiet is simply stunning. It took only a few moments to feel at home in San Fran… back on mass transit… the constant noise, talking to the crowds of people at the Bart add-a-fare line; i left my hotel windows wide open all the time and reveled in the sounds of the city. But coming back to silence and a near total absence of streetlights is a different kind of shock to the system.

Contrasts… i am a creature of contrasts.

One would hope that by now they’ve made enough money from this and other tunes that my paltry use of their music as a bed for a ham-handed single-camera music video will be appreciated as a yeoman’s homage.
