Day 1,525 – Credit Where Credit’s Due

The Dyson Animal

A while ago the sun burned through the pea soup fog that’s become the new normal weather-wise. Shafts of sunlight threw how dirty this place had become into stark relief. So i got out the vacuum and sucked up a full garbage bag of cat, dog, human and probably rodent, hair combined with a jaw-dropping quantity of red dust fine as rouge.

It was then i realized i’d been using the same vacuum for over 9 years and it works as well today as the day we brought it home back in Boise.

I thought i should take a moment to acknowledge a device that has served so well despite being treated like, well, a vacuum cleaner. Sure it cost more than many others, but the once the cost-per-use is amortized over 9 years (and counting) the value is clear. Bravo Dyson.
